In partnership with Reputation Institute, Farner has published the annual ranking of Switzerland’s Most Reputable Companies: “Swiss RepTrak 2018”.
Of all the companies surveyed this year, only Migros and Lindt & Sprüngli have achieved a RepTrak® Pulse Score of over 80, putting them in the “Excellent” bracket. Geberit ranks first among the largest listed companies, just ahead of the Swatch Group. Richemont follows a little further behind in third place.
From a worldwide perspective, almost all companies surveyed suffered a decline in their reputation values in 2018. In Switzerland, on the other hand, Reputation Institute has plotted an upward trend over the past five years.
According to Michele Tesoro-Tess, Vice President EMEA from the Reputation Institute, new recipes are called for to build and strengthen reputation. Brand awareness alone is no longer enough; there is now a need for quality and depth in customer relations. Companies must seek to engage with their target groups and establish a broad understanding of their role in society – and communicate this if possible via all available channels.
